Delta Rae made its name wrapping rapturous four-part harmony and unbridled rhythms around stories of the American spirit. From the Southern Gothic witchcraft of Bottom of the River and I Will Never Die to the romantic frontiers of Run, Chasing Twisters, and Take Me There, the six-piece band of siblings and best friends have explored the myth and magic of both their beloved country’s sprawling landscapes, as well as the interiors of their own hearts, building a catalog and community that has a soul all its own.

After touring constantly for the better part of 10 years and building a reputation for their spiritually enthralling live shows, the group — like the rest of the world — was stopped in its tracks during the COVID-19 pandemic. What emerged during this time were the pent-up shoots of long-buried life that had been subverted by a decade on the road. Three marriages and five babies later, Ian, Eric, Brittany, Liz, Mike, and Grant remain as close as ever, but have taken time to allow their families to come first.

Now, in 2025, they return to form, playing their first public show in two years, The Delta Rae Revival, at one of their favorite haunts, The Ritz, in Raleigh, North Carolina on October 18, 2025. In what will become an annual tradition, they assemble back home to resurrect their music in the place where it all started. The Revival will be accompanied by the release of the band’s first fully produced new songs since 2021: Wandering Child and Don’t Blame Me, one an uplifting hymnal to finding one’s path, the other a fable of seeking wisdom over grift. As ever, they echo the band’s reckoning with the light and the dark.

In partnership with Band Together, The Revival will raise funds for Western North Carolina’s continued rebuilding efforts following the destruction of Hurricane Helene. Since recording the vocals for Carry The Fire at Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, the mountains of North Carolina have carried huge meaning for Delta Rae and it remains essential that these communities continue to receive the support and financial backing they need to become whole again.

As we all seek to make our spirits whole. For the members of Delta Rae, that has always started with the music and making communion with their fans. At this year’s Revival, they summon the spirit anew.
